I absolutely love this video. Watch as a 2-year-old boxer named Scout meets her newborn baby sister for the very first time. It’s the sweetest thing ever! At 2:47, I couldn’t help but say, “AWW!”.
Daniel and his wife didn’t take the meeting lightly. They made sure Scout didn’t get too excited, keeping their voices calm and quiet, and they kneeled down on the floor as Scout goes to inspect the newest family member. It’s incredible to watch the process of this goofy Scout — with her adorable bottom teeth jutting out — reacting so happily to her new sister. She’s curious and bewildered, staring and sniffing intently — but above all, she’s gentle.
Some people may say it’s dangerous to bring a baby into a home with a big dog, but as we’ve seen many, many times before. These dogs make for loving, protective family members; dids are lucky to grow up with dogs around them.
Looks like this little girl’s got a bodyguard for life ???? I can’t wait until she’s a toddler — hopefully Daniel and his family will update us with new videos of these awesome siblings.
